The first part of that involves a reflective essay which is due Dec. 20.<br /><br />Then, in January, students are required to submit a mid-year portfolio to their English 10 teachers. The portfolio will be used to assess whether students are satisfying the honors-level expectations. <a href="http://branfordhighschool.wikispaces.com/Mid-year+portfolio">Details on the reflective essay and portfolio can be found here.</a><br /><br />In addition to the portfolio, honors students will take an additional SAT-type vocabulary exam administered during the regular exam period.
